Yours is the happiest home
where permeates the hymnal Om.
You are the sole dictator.
Of mundane drama, the dexterous director.
Everyone an actor
whether good, bad, patriot or traitor,
actually acts
crossing through several uneven tracts,
just as a troublesome travelling tractor
forms the benefactor
of joys and sorrows,
observing or violating own vows.

Pondering over the arena
of ‘what’, ‘where’, ‘whence’, ‘how’ and ‘why’,
the eternal phenomena
none can deny,
one feels nonplussed;
but as the bar is crossed,
attains freedom
and shunning roaming at random
perceives in time,
the thoughtful theme
of own life’s epic,
and of heart’s violin
the melodious music,
devoid of din.

The essence of intelligentsia,
that is the ambrosia
eradicating lethargy
of inner inertia
and infusing effulgent energy
of peace-pouring panacea.
