‘GANGADHAR MEHER SAMMAN’ Awarded to Dr. Harekrishna Meher (By GM Pratishthan, Bhubaneswar)

Dr. Harekrishna Meher was honoured with

‘GANGADHAR MEHER SAMMAN’- 2018

on the occasion of 157th Birthday Celebration

of Poet Gangadhar Meher (1862-1924) on Shravana Purnima, 26 August 2018,

organized by Gangadhar Meher Pratishthan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Chief Guest Poet Sj. Ramakanta Rath honoured Dr. Meher with Manapatra, 
angavastra, memento and bouquet for his remarkable contributions to Indian Literature.

 Dr. Meher is a researcher of Gangadhar Literature and has rendered Tri-Lingual 
 Hindi-English-Sanskrit Translations of Poet’s Tapasvini Mahakavya. 
All the published three translations of Tapasvini are available on the internet 
and are widely spread on the globe.
