A Literary Program on "JanaJibanare SriJagannatha" was organised by Akhila Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Ganjam Branch, Brahmapur, Odisha on 1 July 2026, Wednesday at 7.30 pm through Google Meet App. Online.

As an invited speaker, Dr. Harekrishna Meher delivered speech on some spiritual and religious Influence of SriJagannatha Tattva on public life.

Further elaborated discussion on spiritual perspective and positive social values of SnanaYatra and RathaYatra of Lord Jagannatha. Also elucidated with Rigvedic reference (अदो यद् दारु प्लवते) and other Puranas.
During speech, he explained the spiritual impression and divine vision of SriRama-devotee Goswami Tulasidas on Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra worshipped as Lord SriRama, Lakshmana and Devi Sita respectively.
Dr. Meher comparatively presented Upanishadic Verse 'अपाणिपादो जवनो ग्रहीता'.. and 'बिनु पद चलइ सुनइ बिनु काना'.. etc. from SriRamacharitamanas.

Also referred to Odia literary works of Kabisamrat Upendra Bhanja :
स्नान गुण्डिचा ए बेनि स्वयंलीला य़ार ।
पतित पाबन अर्थे प्रासादुं बाहार ।।
* भक्तिदेबा गुप्त होइअछि य़ुक्ताक्षरे ।
बैष्णव बिहुने केबा जाणिब संसारे ।। etc.
As some examples referred to also famous devotees like Salabega, Balaram Das, Bandhu Mahanty, Karamabai, Dasia Bauri, Ganapati Bhatta and some others. Also discussed on the human feelings of Anavasara (अनवसर) and ayurvedic treatment for the fever during heavy bath of Lord in Snana Purnima. Furthermore expressed own views on socio-cultural significance of SriJagannatha Mahaprabhu.
One can achieve the grace of Lord through love, devotion and dedication.
Nowadays in scientific age, Lord Jagannatha's RathaYatra has been very well celebrated in various countries of the world.

Another eminent speaker Prof. Dr. Satyanarayan Acharya, VC of Odisha University, delivered his valuable speech on several aspects of Purushottama Lord Jagannatha related to human society.
