Dr. Harekrishna Meher,  Retired Sanskrit Professor of Odisha, is a well-known established poet and researcher in Modern Sanskrit Literature.  He is an original author and translator in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Odia and Kosali Languages. He has been honoured by Sanskar Bharati, New Delhi with National Award "BharatMuni Samman-2024" for his remarkable contributions to Literature, especially for Sanskrit.

प्रयागराजे महाकुम्भस्य पर्व शुभम् । 
सुतीर्थराजे  प्राणि-समाजे सुदुर्लभम् ।‌
महाकुम्भस्य पर्व शुभम्।
प्रयागराजे सर्व-शुभम् ।। (ध्रुवम्)

सिन्धु-मन्थने पुराण-गाथा या अभवन्,
सुधा-कुम्भतो गलित-बिन्दवो  भुव्यपतन् ।
भारतवर्षे  शुभास्पदे,
उज्जयिनी-हरिद्वार-नासिक-
प्रयाग-मध्ये  पुण्यपदे ।
तत्र कुम्भस्य पर्व-पालनं विधीयते ।
कालेन महाकुम्भ-मेलनं महीयते ।

अद्भुत-चुम्बक-शक्ति-निभम्,
