On the occasion of World Sanskrit Day Celebration on the auspicious day

of Sravana Purnima And Raksha Bandhan Festival on 20-8-2013, in Pandit Sammilani,

Sanskrit Poet and Researcher Dr. Harekrishna Meher for his valuable contributions

to Modern Sanskrit Literature was honoured with

 ‘Vachaspati Ganeswar Rath Vedantalankar Samman’

awarded by Balaji Mandir Suraksha Samiti, Bhawanipatna, Odisha.

A Manapatra, Anga-vastra and bouquet were presented to Dr. Meher for his felicitation.  

In this literary function, Sri Jagadish Mandal as President of the Samiti,

Pandit Sri Nrusingha Charan Panda, Co-Ordinator of Odisha Region

of ‘Sanskrit Bharati’ Organisation as Chief Guest, Noted writer Sri Ramakrushna Mahapatra  

and Dr. Harekrishna Meher as Honourable Guests, and

Journalist Sri Satya Narayan Mahapatra as Co-Ordinator of the programme were on the dias.
